At Still Point Animal Wellness, our Surgical Recovery Service supports both pets and their family through every stage of healing. We offer compassionate, hands-on guidance to help your animal recover with comfort, connection, and confidence.
Service Overview
This multi-phase recovery service is tailored to your animal’s healing timeline.
We provide both in-home and virtual sessions designed to help your companion heal safely and comfortably, while giving you the tools, confidence, and understanding to support them every step of the way.
Each phase focuses on a key aspect of recovery and includes customized education, guided techniques, and take-home resources.
Our service is not a substitute for rehabilitation or veterinary care, it serves as a bridge between them, supporting your pet’s comfort and healing along the way.

Some pets may need specialized rehabilitation for strengthening and mobility that we don’t provide directly. That’s where a rehab center comes in. Together, these approaches provide the best care and support for your pet’s recovery.
Weeks 3–6: Rebuilding Confidence
Goal: Support return of mobility, balance, and confidence.
Exercises to encourage balance and coordination
Identifying compensatory patterns and easing tension
Supportive massage therapies to encourage ease of motion
Calming techniques to reduce fear of movement
Long-Term Healing & Maintenance
Goal: Maintain balance, mobility, and fascial health for life.
Our Support Includes:
Ongoing bodywork sessions to maintain optimal mobility, comfort, and quality of life.
Maintenance sessions are designed to address areas of tension, prevent stiffness, and support overall musculoskeletal health.
Early detection of issues so small tensions or mobility changes can be addressed before they become bigger problems.
Personalized guidance for pet parents to continue supporting their pet’s well-being at home.
At Still Point Animal Wellness, we focus on long-term mobility and comfort, combining hands-on bodywork with education and preventive strategies to help your pet move with ease for years to come.
